Introduction to the background documents
The Council is preparing a new Minerals Local Plan which will set out how we plan for mineral extraction in Worcestershire – guiding where minerals should be extracted, how sites should be worked and "restored" when working has finished and how minerals development should protect and enhance Worcestershire's people and places.
A set of background documents has been prepared which set out evidence on which the emerging Minerals Local Plan is based. Please tell us if you have any comments on these documents by responding to the Fourth Stage Consultation on the Minerals Local Plan which is open from 17 December 2018 to 8 February 2019.
Paper copies of the questionnaire are available at all public libraries in Worcestershire during normal opening hours, or you can request a copy by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or 01905 766374.
