Disability Employment Support
The County Council employs people from many backgrounds, each with their own unique talents to contribute. The Council recognizes that some job-seekers face additional barriers when looking for work. It is a Two Ticks Employer and also runs Work Experience and Paid Training Programmes for disabled job seekers. If you would like to find out more about these Programmes you can download leaflets which will tell you more about the scheme.
We may also be able to provide some unpaid work experience for people with disabilities who aren't yet quite ready to apply for a paid role.
