Conditions of use

Information about the use of school transport bus passes

  • tickets are valid for travel up to and including the Expiry Date printed on the pass.
  • where a pass is issued for an Education Contract, this will be for transport at the start and end of the school day only and can only be used on the contract vehicle printed on the pass.
  • where a Severn Card is issued, this can be used on any of the eligible local bus services, as detailed in the Severn Card Service List.
  • where a Severn Card is issued, this will only be valid for transport within the Zone issued.  Please see the Severn Card web page for details of our Zones – Severn Card Student Bus Pass Scheme.
  • if seat belts are provided, they should be worn at all times.
  • wait for the bus to pull away from the bus stop before crossing the road.
  • you should carry your ticket with you at all times and show the driver when you board the vehicle.  
  • failure to show a pass could result in you being refused transport.
  • your ticket will be invalid if mutilated or defaced in any way or any part of the information is unreadable – to order a replacement pass, please visit the replacement pass page.
  • the pass remains the property of Worcestershire County Council at all times and use of this ticket will be taken as acceptance of these conditions
