We are focused on improving outcomes for all children, young people and families in Worcestershire.

1: Over 98% of the county’s youngest school pupils received an offer from one of their top three choices, with over 93% of pupils heading to their first choice of primary or first school to start this important education journey.

  

2: The county’s largest careers event, was delivered by Worcestershire County Council and Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), with over 3,000 young people from over 30 Worcestershire school attending

3: This summer our Holiday Activities and Food events saw 68 providers delivering activities, creating 20,758 available places for eligible families.

4: Our Children’s social care services were rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted  and our Bromsgrove Short Breaks Unit was rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.
