Publication Version Consultation
The Publication Version Consultation on the Minerals Local Plan under Regulation 19 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended) is open from 19th August 2019 to 30th September 2019.
The Publication Version of the Minerals Local Plan sets out the proposed vision and objectives for mineral development in Worcestershire, and includes the proposed strategic policies and development management policies which will be used to make decisions on planning applications once the plan is adopted.
After this stage of consultation, the Council intends to submit the plan and any representations which have been made to the Secretary of State, who will appoint an independent inspector to examine the 'soundness' and legal compliance of the plan.
A guidance note has been prepared to assist in the completion of the questionnaire, including details on what points are able to be made under this Regulation 19 consultation.
The consultation documents are also available to view at County Hall reception (Spetchley Road, Worcester) and at all public libraries in Worcestershire during normal opening hours (see www.worcestershire.gov.uk/libraries). If you would like a free paper copy of any of the documents, please email us at email@example.com, telephone 01905 766374, or write to:

How you can get involved
Respond to this document
At this stage of consultation, there are two questions that you can respond to:
Is the Minerals Local Plan legally compliant? If your response is about the way in which we prepared the Local Plan, then these are likely to relate to whether the plan has complied with relevant legislation.
Is the Minerals Local Plan sound? If your response is about the content of the Local Plan, then these are likely to relate to whether or not it is sound.
Please respond to the consultation by 5pm on Monday 30th September 2019. All responses must be in writing and will be in the public domain. Only representations received within the consultation period have a statutory right to be considered by the Planning Inspector at the independent examination, therefore any representations received after the consultation closing date may not be considered.
