The NHS 111 'Help Us Help You – Know What to Do’ campaign launches today
The NHS 111 'Help Us Help You – Know What to Do’ campaign launches today 21 October 2019, helping to raise awareness around when to use NHS 111, either on the phone or online. The campaign encourages people to call 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk online, instead of worrying, self-diagnosing, or second-guessing what they should do when they have an urgent health problem.
As well as the more traditional phone service, this campaign also highlights the option for people to access NHS 111 online. NHS 111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to calling 111 and can be accessed via smartphone, laptop or computer. NHS 111 online is also available as part of the new NHS App, which is being rolled out across England. For more information, visit www.nhs.uk/nhsapp
There are various resources available to download from posters to leaflets, including large print guides, easy read, Braille, British Sign Language as well and audio guides. These are all available from the Public Health Campaign Resource Centre https://campaignresources.phe.gov.uk/resources
