Requests to improve walking, cycling, bus or disabled access

The Transport Infrastructure and Commissioning Team delivers an annual programme of small scale transport projects to improve facilities within Worcestershire for pedestrians, cyclists, bus users and those with mobility impairments.

If your community or business would benefit from the improvements such as:

  • pedestrian and cycle crossings such as pedestrian refuges, dropped kerb crossings, zebra, puffin and toucan crossings
  • pedestrian and cycle route improvements including widening of footways and signage
  • bus stop enhancements such as shelters, new hardstanding areas, raised kerbs to help level boarding
  • ramps and handrails

you can make a request. Once the Transport Infrastructure and Commissioning Team has received your request a sifting exercise is undertaken to ascertain if the request is feasible to then go forward for potential future funding.
