If you are over 18 and haven’t had your Covid-19 vaccination yet, a walk-in clinic is open in Bromsgrove this Saturday.

You do not need to book, just turn up and have your vaccine. Please remember to bring I.D with you that proves your date of birth.

The vaccination is for people to receive their first doses only.

The clinic will be open from 2-6pm on Saturday 26th June, at The Artrix, Slideslow Drive, Bromsgrove B60 1GN

Public Health in Worcestershire, together with NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire Clinical Commissioning Group and Bromsgrove District Council are working to help people get their first vaccination where they haven’t been able to already.

Dr Kathryn Cobain, Director of Public Health for Worcestershire said: "Across Worcestershire, our vaccine programme has been really successful, the numbers of people taking up the offer of a vaccine have been positive. We are so grateful to everyone who has come forward so far across the county.

I am so thankful to Bromsgrove District Council and our local NHS partners who have once again joined with us to put on a walk-in clinic at the Artrix in Bromsgrove. This should make it easier for our younger residents to get their first vaccine, as they can just drop by and be seen. Clinics like these make it much easier and more convenient for people come forward and to get vaccinated. Vaccination is so important, not only as it protects the person receiving the vaccine but it also helps to protect their loved ones and local residents.”

Councillor Karen May, Leader of Bromsgrove District Council and cabinet member for Health and Wellbeing for Worcestershire County Council added: “Our vaccination programme has been a real success story so far and it allows us to look forward to brighter times ahead as we loosen restrictions and return to a pre-pandemic way of life. The vaccination clinic is available to anyone who hasn’t had their first vaccination, as long as you bring ID that proves your date of birth. This is an ideal chance for those who haven’t had their first vaccine yet to take that first step in protecting themselves and others.”

Simon Trickett, Chief Executive Officer for NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire CCG said: “As the nation gears up for the removal of Covid restrictions in July, it is more important than ever that all adults get their vaccine, to protect themselves and those around them.

“I am thankful to all partners and volunteers who are supporting by taking part in the ‘Grab a Jab’ weekend at The Guildhall.”

This walk-in clinic is part of a nationwide initiative happening over this weekend called Grab a Jab Walk-In Weekend, giving those who haven’t already had their first vaccination an opportunity to do so.

The on-site team can help your NHS number if you bring documentation that proves your date of birth.

You don't need to be registered with a GP to access the vaccination.

The Artrix is in Slideslow Drive and is easily accessible for those with mobility issues to enter and receive their vaccination.
