Keep up the community spirit in 2021 with Worcestershire Adult Learning

Published Thursday, 31st December 2020

Have you made a New Year’s Resolution to do more to help those in need next year?

If so, Worcestershire Adult Learning would like to hear from you as they launch their Help in the Community Project for 2021.

The project is beginning on Monday 18th January and there will be on an online session from 11-11.30am as it launches.

Councillor Lucy Hodgson, Cabinet Member for Communities, said: The launch of this project is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of likeminded people who want to help those most vulnerable within our communities.”

Initially meeting online, tutors will support those who join making a variety of items, which are appropriate to make from home.

Once finished, items will be handed out to those in need, throughout Worcestershire.

If you’d like to learn a new skill for the new year, the Adult Learning team is the perfect place to start.
