What we did during Lockdown is now a popular topic of conversation.
With stories about banana bread on everyone’s lips, not many people can say they became a World Champion as Adult Learning Worcestershire’s Sally Gleaves can.
Sally, a community tutor from Worcester, came first in the World ITF Taekwondo Council’s Online Patterns World Championship.
She said: “I am delighted to have won, the Taekwondo Council’s first ever online World Championship. 26 countries were represented so I am delighted to bring this win to Worcestershire.”
If you are looking to broaden your skill set, Adult Learning Worcestershire is a fantastic place to start with courses in anything from arts and crafts to languages.
Councillor Lucy Hodgson, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Communities said: “I would like to congratulate Sally on her wonderful achievement.
