Worcestershire County Council are encouraging children to colour-in posters and display them in their windows to promote togetherness.
The poster is part of the new Here2Help site which has tips on how you can help others during this difficult time.
It’s the ideal activity for children to do in line with social distancing guidelines.
The council is hoping it will alert new people to the Here2Help campaign, which is aiming to find people willing to volunteer their time, services or products to help during the coronavirus crisis.
Councillor Lucy Hodgson, Cabinet Member for Communities at Worcestershire County Council said, “It’s wonderful to see Worcestershire really coming together as a community during the Coronavirus pandemic.
“We know with schools closing that some children will be looking for activities to keep them busy. It is important that during this time children continue to socially distance themselves, but we understand that this may often feel lonely.
“Displaying your coloured in poster in your window is a good way to spread the message that we are all still in this together.”
