Following updates to testing, the Director of Public Health at Worcestershire County Council has offered an update.
In a video from Worcestershire County Council, Dr Kathryn Cobain has outlined current testing policies and what to do if you are experiencing symptoms, or if someone you have been in close contact with has symptoms.
Dr Kathryn Cobain, Director of Public Health at Worcestershire County Council said: “One of the big changes is the change in testing. If you have symptoms, you do not need to get a test but you should follow the self-isolation policy. The advice is to stay at home for 7 days from the point your symptoms first started, or 14 days if you have been in close contact with someone who is experiencing symptoms.”
