It’s time to don your walking boots and fleece and head for the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.
The Millennium Way walking festival starts on September 5th, with guided walks through some of the most beautiful countryside in the county. There are 8 circular walks to choose from, suitable for beginners through to more experienced walkers.
There are 2 walks each day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon between 5th and the 8th September.
The walks setting out from Pershore and moving Eastwards along Millennium Way, are between 3 to 8 miles long. One of the routes is easy access and suitable for the less able and those with cross country wheelchairs.
John Armstrong, one of the event organisers said: "We hope people will check out the various lengths of guided walks on the website, then register for a walk, or even several and come out and enjoy the wonderful Worcestershire countryside."
The walks are free but booking is essential.
