Worcestershire Pension Fund is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate Head of Pensions Administration.

Worcestershire Pension Fund is a £3.5 billion pension scheme with c185 Worcestershire and Herefordshire public sector partners, including councils, university, housing and education institutions.

Head of Pensions Administration

Using your expert knowledge, you’ll be responsible for delivering administration, communications, employer liaison and governance for the Fund and provide inspiring leadership. Leading an experienced and knowledgeable team, you’ll facilitate positive challenge across the Fund to continuously improve performance outcomes and deliverables, value for money and stakeholder satisfaction. In the next evolution of our Fund we are keen to be recognised by our employers and members for improvements in the way we interact and be seen as one of the country’s leading funds.
You will be part of Worcestershire County Council’s Finance Leadership Team, and you’ll have opportunities to create and build new ways of working across all of Finance and grow as a leader in this field.
You’ll have substantial experience of leading and developing a pensions administration service, preferably gained in the LGPS or a large defined benefit pension scheme. Alongside this you’ll be experienced in working in a political environment and providing advice at a strategic level across wide ranging and complex services.
