Worcestershire's New Learning Disability Strategy
The Learning Disability Partnership Board are keen to get everyone's input into Worcestershire's new Learning Disability Strategy.
Due to launch in 2023, the strategy will help to set out what people with Learning Disabilities and their families in Worcestershire want and need to support them in their everyday lives.
We would like to thank everyone who responded to our survey earlier in 2022, and all those who have contributed to our workshops and discussion groups so far. The Partnership Board is now taking all the feedback received and bringing it together into the new strategy, which is due to be published in the spring.
Rachel Barrett, Lead Expert By Experience at Speakeasy N.O.W., said: “It’s great working together on the next Learning Disability Strategy. We are helping to change people’s lives. You can only do this by listening and working together with people with lived experience.”
Councillor Adrian Hardman, Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care, said: "We're really hopeful that the Learning Disability strategy will become a key part of how we can all work together to help make Worcestershire a great place to live for everyone”.
