The Rona Hub

Confused about Coronavirus?

If you’re looking for simple and helpful advice about Coronavirus, then you’ve come to the right place. You could essentially call us your online coronavirus guru (in a good way).

The Rona Hub is a space specifically created for all of us under 30s that just want straight-forward explanations on everything to do with the Rona, without the boujee lingo.

Check out our fancy film at the bottom of this page called ‘Resilience’. It’s from the perspective of 18-year-old Worcestershire poet Ellie Dart. It’s a bit emotional, so you may want to grab a tissue.

We all want to hug our friends and family, and desperately get back to doing the things we miss the most. For this to happen, we need to follow the rules so we can take back our lives.

Mental Health Support

“I’m fine, I really am.” - A line that most of us say, but don’t really mean.

We need to put the same energy in to looking after our mental health as we do taking care of our physical health.

It’s completely normal to feel anxious or stressed about Coronavirus and the effects it’s having on you. The best thing you can do, is reach out to someone if you are struggling. You’re not on your own and there is support if you need it

Self-isolation and Symptoms

Alright, so in a nutshell if you have Coronavirus symptoms or have tested positive, you MUST self-isolate. No excuses.

Self-isolation is not like lockdown. You mustn’t leave your home for any reason… no, not even for pizza. Don’t be a #Covidiot.

A positive test = self-isolate for 10 DAYS

Coronavirus symptoms + negative test = self-isolate when symptoms started. If your symptoms have cleared and you have received a negative test, WAHEY you can leave the house.

Flatmate/partner/family member tested positive = ALL of you need to self-isolate for 10 DAYS.

Covid-19 Support in the BAME Community

Those of us from the BAME community, listen up. We could be at greater risk of becoming very sick from Covid-19.

Seriously, it's no joke. By taking the vaccine, it will help protect us and save many lives.
