Our community programme

Learning something new can transform your life, change how you feel about yourself and help you to find pathways forward in directions that you’d never have imagined at the start of your journey.

On our funded courses you’ll learn in small groups (max 12 learners per session), delivered at venues familiar to you, within your locality, whilst sitting alongside others from your own neighbourhood. If you decide to join one of our online courses this will also be delivered to a small group made up of people from across Worcestershire who all share your interest in the subject matter.

Courses include

  • Health and Well-Being Suite - explore ways for us all to improve or maintain our mental health and well-being
  • Arts and Crafts Suite – explore our suite of courses in jewellery, watercolours, chunky knitting and many more , giving you a tiny glimpse of the phenomenal power, that creative thought can have on our minds and in turn within the body

Course funding

Our government funded Community Learning courses are FREE for anyone of working age earning less than 17.5K per annum, for those on benefits such as Universal Credit or anyone aged 19-23 with fewer than 5 GCSE’s at A* to C. If you do not meet the concessions criteria for a free course you’ll find similar subjects available at a small cost per person listed within our Leisure suite.
