Early help training and events
Worcestershire County Council's eLearning Zone has a number of online training modules available.
Worcestershire County Council also provides a dedicated training programme for practitioners working with children, young people and their families in Worcestershire. More information can be found on the page Children and Young People's Workforce Development and Vocational Qualifications
There is also specific training for the safeguarding of children and young people (opens in a new window) which includes courses on Female Genital Mutilation, Child Sexual Exploitation and Safe Recruitment.
Domestic abuse training
Worcestershire County Council has commissioned "free" multi-agency domestic abuse training in conjunction with Sarah Wigley Associates. This training seeks to raise awareness and equip professionals with a better understanding of the dynamics of abuse, including coercive control and to better identify, signpost and support victims.

Young Carer Aware e-learning programme
Young carers are any young people who have a caring role at home. The caring role could be for a parent, a sibling or a grandparent due to illness, disability, physical or mental health difficulties or substance misuse. The Young Carer Aware e-learning programme will help you and your workforce to learn about young carers and how to support them.
