Health and Safety Admin Apprentice

At Worcestershire County Council, our people work hard for the residents, communities and businesses of this area. In return, we look after their futures, and that includes taking good care of their occupational health and safety.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Health & Safety and Admin Apprentice to join our growing passionate Health and Safety team. Prior Health & Safety experience is not required, and this opportunity is ideal for those looking to start a career in this field.

We are a dynamic team, with excellent technical and customer service skills and tangible passion for self-development and achieving excellence for the population we serve. As well as supporting the health and safety of our workforce, we also have several other contracts for Health and Safety Services across the local area.

As well as supporting you to gain professional qualifications, your on the job experience will ensure you develop your health and safety and administrative skills alongside your studies. During your apprenticeship, you will work towards being able to carry out risk assessments, audits, inspections, accident investigations as well as delivering health and safety packages, and training.

You will be mentored by experienced health and safety professionals, helping you further your career. As you develop in your knowledge and experience, we will require you to visit Council and client sites across Worcestershire, and occasionally, several other local Counties.
