Opening hours

The Archive Searchroom is open on Tuesday and Thursday to Saturday from 10.30am to 4.00pm (closed between 1.00pm to 1.30pm) and Wednesday 1.30pm to 7.00pm. Booking in advance is no longer needed.

The Historic Environment Record desk is open Tuesday and Thursday from 10.30am to 1.30pm.

Self Service (microfilms and Local Studies Library) is available anytime during The Hive’s opening hours.

We encourage all visitors to continue to wear a face covering and to respect the space of staff and other customers.
