School and College Travel

Updated 1 October 2020

In light of the continued and rising increase in community transmission and COVID infection rates, Worcestershire County Council with advice from Public Health have decide to make the wearing of face coverings mandatory on Home to School Transport from Tuesday 6 October.

Children under the age of 11 will be exempt and the council will follow the same guidance that is in place for Public Transport.

Worcestershire County Council is working with schools to ensure they will have a supply of face coverings for those pupils who do not currently have one and these will be available from school.

September applications

Please continue to apply for transport for September, if you will need it at any stage, regardless of the current situation. Any application received after 31st July will be classed as a late application and we cannot guarantee transport will be arranged in time for the start of the Autumn Term.

2020 to 2021 payments

We will be starting to send payment letters out during the week commencing 17th August.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer the option to pay by Direct Debit for the Autumn Term at this time, if you did not pay by Direct Debit last year, due to constraints in processing and setting up new mandates.  We are hoping that we will be able to offer this option for Spring Term 2021.

All refunds for the 10 days of Spring and the Summer Term contributions should now have been processed. Please check your bank account or credit card that the payment was originally made from, before contacting us.
