Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (Newtown Road Area, Worcester) (Bus Lane) Order 2010 (Experimental Variation) Order 2021
On 7 October 2021 Worcestershire County Council made an Experimental Order which will experimentally remove the bus lane on the following road in Worcester: -
Newtown Road (westbound carriageway) from a point 144m west of the western kerbline of Ronkswood Crescent for a distance of 118m in a south westerly direction.
The Experimental Order will come into operation on 28 October 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months.
The Experimental Order has been made to allow an assessment of the effect of the Order before a decision is taken to make it permanent. Any objections/representations you may have must be sent in writing to me at County Hall, or email firstname.lastname@example.org; to be received by 27 April 2022 specifying the grounds on which they are made together with an indication of whether you would wish to address the removal of the bus lane if given the opportunity.
