The Household Recycling Centre Booking System
Residents wishing to use this recycling centre are required to pre-book their visit
Booking system information:
- please arrive as near as you can to your selected time slot
- we will attempt to allow some leeway but arriving outside this window may mean you are denied entry
- to allow as many people as possible to utilise our household recycling sites the current limit will be 4 visits per 14 days per household
- please be aware once you have booked an appointment you will be unable to change any details
- you will need to display your pass from the booking system to gain entry to the site, this can be on your phone or as a printed document

Planning to visit on bike?
- residents able to bring their household waste by bicycle can access any of Herefordshire’s recycling centres in the same way as a motorised vehicle
- pre-booking is required at Ross on Wye, Ledbury, Bromyard and Kington
- at Hereford and Leominster no booking is required and cyclists will be expected to wait their turn alongside other users
Planning to visit on Foot?
- pedestrian access is permitted at Kington, Ledbury and Ross on Wye
- residents wishing to visit on foot must pre book a slot like all other users

- All sites are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day.
Please be advised that sites close promptly at the time(s) stated above. For your convenience it is advised that you aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before the site closes to allow time to unload.
- Please wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear (no open toe footwear)
- Use gloves when handling your waste particularly sharp or heavy items

Green Waste & Compost
Please be advised that green waste bigger than 2 metres in length, and 100mm in diameter can not be accepted on compactor sites as indicated above.
You can buy Green Grow soil conditioner made from your composted green waste at a cost of £2 per bag (Debit/Credit Card Only).
