Coronavirus (COVID-19) information for our library users updated 1 July 2020
This library will remain closed until further notice.
Six of Worcestershire’s libraries are re-opening on Saturday July 4th in line with phase three of Central Government’s relaxing of lockdown restrictions.
Libraries re-opening to customers in this first phase are: The Hive, Redditch, Kidderminster, Malvern, Bromsgrove, Evesham.
To ensure the safety of library customers and staff, only limited services will be available until social distancing restrictions are relaxed or removed. Customers will not be able to enter the library to browse and borrow, to read or study or to relax and meet friends. Instead, we are offering a ‘reserve and collect’ service and ‘pre-bookable computer sessions’. Please go to www.worcestershire.gov.uk/libraries for further information.
We have extended the return date for all library loans until further notice which will ensure that customers do not need to renew their library loans and will not build up library fines.
Access new online library services and make the most of your library membership whilst you stay safe at home including free e-books, e-audio and e-magazines by visiting the new Digital Library Hub – www.worcestershire.gov.uk/DigitalLibraryHub
