About the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Worcestershire County Council

Gordon YarrantonGordon Yarranton was elected Chairman of Worcestershire County Council at the Annual Meeting held on 23 May 2013, to serve for the 2013/14 Civic Year. As Chairman Gordon is the civic figurehead of the County Council.

He has an ambassadorial role to promote the County Council and Worcestershire as a whole and to enhance the reputation of both. During his year he will carry out a whole host of civic, community and ceremonial duties as well as chairing meetings of Full Council

Pam Davey 2His Vice-Chairman is Pam Davey, whose role is to support the Chairman in carrying out these duties and to represent him in his absence.
