Worcestershire Resource Centres for Older People provide
intermediate care services, specialist respite care and day
opportunities for older people.
As an indication of our high standards of care these centres
were awarded Customer Service Excellence Status in recognition of
excellent service. The centres employ professional and experienced
staff group from health and social care.
What you can expect from the intermediate care unit
We will provide an individually tailored care
plan to help you achieve your goals. These could be working towards
regaining your strength, confidence and independence with:
- Drinks and meals
- Washing dressing and bathing
- Managing in your own home
- Nursing needs
- Managing your medication
The intermediate care service is available free of charge to you
for a maximum of 6 weeks. Depending on your progress and your
needs, you may need less than 6 weeks.
