Prior to submitting your application with Ofsted please ensure you have met the criteria listed on their website:

An application will take approximately 12 weeks to process by Ofsted, during which time they will be undertaking relevant background checks.

Registration Visit

The next stage is the Registration Visit, which is arranged once Ofsted have completed all their necessary checks. During this registration visit the Inspector will undertake further checks for example identity / training / work history and will also talk to you to assess your ability to provide childcare and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

At the end of the Registration Visit you will also be notified if you have been approved or not.
