Worcestershire County Council Budget and Service Priorities

Introduction
The nation's budget deficit and the need to rein in public spending is being discussed extensively. Worcestershire County Council has already had a reduction in funding and expects further reductions in the future. We are planning our response carefully as we simply will not be able to afford everything we currently do in the same way going forward. This is the Better Outcomes, Lean Delivery (BOLD) programme through which we aim to reduce annual spending by £45million by 2013/14. Understanding your views is very important to us. In the following questions we ask for your opinions about services we provide.
Q1 With the current pressures on funding for local government, there is a real need to reduce spending on local public services. Please tell us how strongly you agree or disagree with reducing the level of service provision for the following services?
