Worcestershire Partnership

Formed in 1998 Worcestershire Partnership is the Local Strategic Partnership for the county. Worcestershire Partnership brings together local government, public services such as health, learning providers, police and probation, voluntary and community organisations and local businesses within Worcestershire. The work of the partnership is based on a shared common purpose and good will.

In December 2012 the Worcestershire Partnership Board approved proposals for a new structure for the partnership, moving away from the previous hierarchal arrangements to become a network of interconnected partnership groups with the Shenstone Group at the centre.

As part of these new arrangements the previous Board was dissolved and the Partnership Executive Group given responsibility for the administration of the Worcestershire Partnership.

This model removes the need for formal reporting lines but recognises the interdependencies that exist between thematic groups and places greater emphasis on coordination and influence.
