Worcestershire County Council Libraries offer residents the chance to train as adult learning tutors

Published Wednesday, 3rd December 2014

Residents who have aspirations of becoming adult learning tutors have the chance to develop their skills in a 16 week course.

The course is being offered at St John's Library during the day and in the evening at Redditch Library.
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is an introductory qualification to help develop skills in teaching and learning.
Cllr Lucy Hodgson said: "This is a career changing course for anyone thinking of taking the leap into teaching. Not only is this a vocation that provides great personal rewards – but there is also the chance to develop in a specific subject and progress within a teaching department."
The next course is due to start on the January 19. Anyone who is interested in finding out more about the Level 3 Award in Education and Training and being a tutor in the Adult Education system is invited to join us for an informal discussion at The Hive, Worcester on Wednesday, December 10 or at Redditch Library on Thursday, December 11 from 6 – 8pm.
