The Green Deal Communities solid wall insulation project is coming to an end.
The scheme offers grants of up to £4,500 towards the cost of insulating solid wall constructed homes. The scheme has been running countywide since October 2014 and 600 households have taken up the grant offer for solid wall insulation so far. Funding is limited and grants are running out quickly. Solid wall insulation could save you up to £455 per year on your energy bills.
Registrations for assessments will close Friday 12 February, and signed contracts to be returned by Thursday 24 March.
Cllr Anthony Blagg, Cabinet Member for Environment, said: "The Green Deal Communities scheme has been a fantastic opportunity for people across Worcestershire to save money on their utility bills. Here at Worcestershire County Council we are committed to protecting the environment, and this funding has made a significant contribution to that effort."
To register for an energy efficiency assessment residents should call E.On by Friday 12 February 2016 by calling 0330 400 1006.
Registrations cannot be accepted after this date. Registration does not guarantee funding for works.
