Calling all budding wizards and witches

Published Tuesday, 19th January 2016

If you're 10 years or under and ever fancied yourself as a budding Harry, Hermione or Ron, this event is definitely for you.

Kidderminster Library is holding a dedicated Harry Potter Book Night.  It doesn’t matter whether you are a dedicated fan or newbie to the stories of the schoolboy wizard, everyone is welcome to celebrate the spellbinding world of Hogwarts, magic, mysteries and surprises.

This is the second time, the event, which links with Bloomsbury Publisher has been held.  This year it is taking place on Thursday, February 4th from 5.30pm until 6.30pm. It is for children aged between 6 and 10 years old and cost £1.00 per ticket. Wizards and witches are welcome to come dressed in their finest robes.

Holly Ferris, Library Team Leader explains: "Last year's Harry Potter Night was an amazing night of potions, spells, and competition between the school houses. Come and join in the fun as this time we enter the Chamber of Secrets and create a Night of Spells."

Places are limited and tickets need to be bought in advance.  They are available from Kidderminster Library.  To contact the library email kidderminsterlib@worcestershire.gov.uk or call 01905 822722.
