Start your New Year with one of Kidderminster or Hagley Library's new courses

If your New Year's resolutions include learning a new skill or hobby, then Kidderminster and Hagley Library may have the course for you.

A range of new adult learning courses are now available to sign up for at both Kidderminster and Hagley Libraries. 

The programme at Kidderminster Library includes:

·        Meditation Taster Course; to learn how to calm your mind and enhance your wellbeing.

·         Computers for beginners; to give those who have the very basic knowledge and are ready to build their skills in word processing, internet and email

·         Family History; a five week course covering the basics of discovering your family history using online and other sources.

·         Holistic crafts; make beautiful items, from lavender bags to dream catchers.

Plus Kidderminster Library is hosting a free course for women who want to improve their skills and get back into work.  The Women2web course runs on January 11 and February 15, between 2pm and 4pm.  The support on offer covers the internet, Microsoft office and CV building.

Hagley Library are hosting a Spanish course for complete beginners and covers phrases and vocabulary for day to day situations, greetings and socialising such as ordering food and drink.
