'Hub-made' Christmas lunch

Residents of Ferry View in Evesham were treated to a Turkey and Tinsel lunch last week (Thursday 3 December) when Evesham Hub (Formally Evesham Day Service) visited to cook a festive lunch.

Fifty five residents and Hub users enjoyed a turkey and stuffing bap, followed by home-made 'hub-made' mince pies, while enjoying traditional Christmas carols and exploring the craft stalls and raffle.

Evesham Hub, which organises community based activities for adults with learning disabilities, arranged this event with Rooftops Housing.

Annie Longhurst, Evesham Hub Team Leader, said: "We are delighted that the event went so well and was so well received by all who were able to attend. I'd like to extend our thank you to the residents of Ferry View and Rooftops Housing for allowing us to host the event. Here's to another next year!"
