Staff at Evesham Library are to give local residents the opportunity to come along and look at proposals to re-model the library in order to create space for the learning disability service.
Plans will be displayed that indicate how the layout of the library might be changed to create different zones and areas and the public are invited to come along, view the proposals, ask questions and share their views.
The public engagement will take place at Evesham Library across the week commencing Monday 30 November. Plans for the proposed building work will be on display throughout the week and there will also be three sessions during which staff will be available to answer questions from residents:
Monday 30 Nov, 10am-12noon
Tuesday 1 Dec, 2pm-4pm
Thursday 3 Dec, 5pm-6.30pm
Cllr Lucy Hodgson, Cabinet Member with responsibility for Localism and Communities, said: "I am immensely proud of Worcestershire's Library Service, and one of the pillars of their quality service is listening to residents' feedback. The proposed building work on Evesham Library is an exciting prospect and one that we are looking forward to sharing with the public."
