Secondary school admissions closing soon

Published Wednesday, 21st October 2015

Time is running out to apply for secondary school places. Applications close on 31 October, and parents are encouraged to apply before the deadline or risk their children not getting in to their preferred choice of school.

Councillor John Campion, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Children and Families, said: "Secondary school is such a formative time in a person's life, and it is important that children are given the opportunity to study in their favoured environment. I would encourage parents to apply for secondary school places as soon as possible in order to give their child the best chance of getting their preferred choice of school."

Applying online is quick and easy and will allow you to view your chosen school online rather than waiting for it in the post. Apply online by visiting www.worcestershire.gov.uk/schooladmissions
