Worcestershire County Council is holding drop in session at Half Crown Wood Children's Centre, Stourport, for parents who wish to apply for their child's school place online.
The session will take place Friday, November 14, between 8.45am and 10am.
Children born between September 1, 2010 and August 31, 2011, need to apply for a school place starting September 2015, if they wish to go to school. Children cannot automatically start school in Worcestershire without this application taking place.
Applications are open from September 1, 2014 and close on January 15, 2015, for reception admissions.
Applying online is quick, easy and safe. You can change your mind and make amendments up to the closing date.
There will be a Computabus on site and help with using computers, internet and the application process. Help particularly for parents who don't have access to the internet or a computer.
Cllr Liz Eyre, Cabinet Member for Children and Families, said: "It is very important that parents, who want their child to go to school, know about the application process and are clear on the opening and closing dates. This session is very helpful in showing parents how the process works and will able to answer any questions they might have."
Parents can apply online at: www.worcestershire.gov.uk/schooladmissions or contact the Worcestershire Hub on 01905 822700.
