Barnt Green Parish Council and Worcestershire Countryside Service will be hosting its third annual community walk next weekend. (26 September)
With over 200 people joining one of the three walks last year before finishing at Millennium Park for a pig roast, refreshments and entertainment. Organisers are hoping for a similar or better turn out to enjoy an autumnal day.
There are three walks to choose from 7 miles starting at 1.30pm, 4 miles start 3pm and a short 3 miles starting at 4pm. All walks begin and finish at Millennium Park and participants are advised to arrive early to register
Amanda Hill Countryside Access Volunteers Officer said: "join us for one of three walks around Barnt Green and the surround area – with three different length walks there is something for everyone to enable people to get out and experience their local countryside. I hope this year's event is as successful as in previous years.'
The walk is one of a number of Walk Worcestershire Circular walks scattered across the county.
