A new autumn programme of adult learning courses is starting at Pershore Library.
From this week the library is running a number of new courses including: French conversation for intermediates, advanced Italian conversation, discovering your family history, jewellery making, quilting, Tai Chi, yoga, making Christmas decorations, art and health.
Cllr Lucy Hodgson, cabinet member for localism and communities said: "There are so many different courses to take part in and Pershore is just one of our libraries running this new adult learning and leisure programme. Anyone looking to learn something new or to build on existing skills should have a look at the new prospectus, go online at www.worcestershire.gov.uk/courses or ask in their local library for more information".
The courses at Pershore Library are all part of the Adult Learning Programme organised by Worcestershire County Council's Libraries and Learning Service. The full programme includes a wide range of creative and leisure courses as well as providing courses to learn new skills for getting a job or keeping up to date with I.T. and digital media.
To make life easier the entire programme of over 150 courses available in venues across Worcestershire is now available online via the Council's website www.worcestershire.gov.uk/courses. The new online system allows users to search by course, venue and date and once a course has been chosen to check availability and then book and pay for it online too.
Learners can also find out more by calling into any of Worcestershire's libraries or calling 01905 822722.
