Next year's budget is the latest issue to come under Worcestershire County Council's scrutiny microscope.
The County Council's Cabinet recently agreed to go further and faster in doing things differently and delivering savings to meet Government funding reductions in 2015/16 and beyond.
A group of county councillors, led by Cllr Richard Udall, will be scrutinising the Cabinet's plans and are keen to hear what residents think of them.
Councillors will talk to senior officers and partners to find out about the plans and to make sure they are the right ones for Worcestershire residents.
Cllr Richard Udall said “It’s important and vital that we look carefully at the cabinet proposals for next year’s budget; our job is to comment, challenge and question the proposals.
"These are difficult and challenging times for the Council, many parts of our service provision will be affected and many Worcestershire people will notice the changes. We wish to have a better understanding of the impact the proposals will have on people’s lives; the views, comments and knowledge of residents and user groups will help us to scrutinise the proposals.
"We want to hear from anybody who wants to make a contribution to our work and to help us to scrutinise the proposals”.
If you want to let the councillors know your views, please contact the scrutiny team on 01905 766619 or email email@example.com
The Council has also set up a series of "Have Your Say" roadshows to give residents and businesses the opportunity to ask any questions they may have about the Council's plans for the future.
The County Councillors on the scrutiny task group are:
Richard Udall (St John, 07710 780845)
Philip Gretton (Redditch)
Ian Hopwood (Malvern Langland)
