Take the first steps into digital marketplace

Published Friday, 15th May 2015

Whilst walking around your home recently, have you developed the urge to remove clutter from your house?

Don’t worry, the Worcestershire County Council Library and Learning Service can help.

They have organised a two hour workshop at Alvechurch Library on Tuesday, May 26, from 10am until noon to teach people how to use the popular online marketplace Ebay.

Cllr Lucy Hodgson, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Localism and Communities, said: "Taking the first steps on to the online market place can seem scary. This is a great opportunity to learn from a tutor how to use Ebay and sell those items you have always wanted to get rid of."

Alyson Williams, Library Manager said: "The workshop will require some basic computer skills to do the course.  But don’t worry if you are a complete beginner you could take advantage of our free computer lessons on Tuesday mornings to gain the basic skills needed to go on the next Ebay course."

The course will cost £20 per person.
