Go for gold at St John's Library

Children looking for a sporting challenge are invited to St John's Library in Worcester for a sports-themed 'Family Fun Time' event.

From 10am - 12 noon on Saturday 9 May, children from three to nine years old will be able to test their skills by taking part in a fun golfing challenge in the library garden. They will also be able to use the books and resources which St John's Library has to offer to learn about their favourite sporting heroes and their sporting achievements.

The free event is one of a series being held at St John's Library on the second Saturday of every month, which aims to provide children with a range of interactive activities that make learning fun.

Janet Davidson, Library Customer Advisor, said; "These fun events are always popular with young children and their families. They provide a great opportunity for children not only to have fun but also to learn about their sporting heroes."
