The ‘Making Decisions About Your Future’ roadshows will be returning for the Autumn, beginning tomorrow in Malvern.
Councillor Adrian Hardman, officers from Adult Social Care, and social workers will be at Waitrose in Malvern between 10am – 2pm.
The event is a great opportunity for local people to come and speak to staff and find out more about staying independent for longer .
Staff will also be on hand to help you start the difficult conversation, for many, on how best to put across your future wishes for your care, to friends and family.
Councillor Adrian Hardman, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Adult Social Care, said: “The engagement events have been really well attended, and we’re hopeful the next two will be as well. They’ve proven to be really valuable so far, in terms of starting the conversation with local people about the importance of sharing their wishes and planning for the future. Noticing small changes now and acting now can make a real difference when thinking ahead to the future.”
The team will then be visiting the Regal Cinema in Tenbury Wells as part of the ‘Living Well for Longer’ event on 10 October between 10am – 1pm.
The programme will make its final stop on 23rd October at The Valley in Evesham between 10am-2pm.
