The deadline to apply for a place at a Worcestershire Primary, First, Infant, Junior and Middle school is January 15 2019.
Parents of all children starting school next year (September 2019) need to apply for their school place before applications close at midnight on January 15 2019.
For children born between the September 1 2014 and August 31 2015, parents must apply for a school place starting in September 2019 before the deadline or they may not receive an offer for one of their preferred schools.
To avoid this unnecessary disappointment and potential inconvenience, parents should log on to www.worcestershire.gov.uk/schooladmissions. Applying online is the easiest and most efficient way to apply. It is secure and parents and carers can log on to the website at any time during the day or night. This means last minutes changes are possible up to 12 midnight on the closing day.
Parents will also gain access to a reference number which they can refer to in any future correspondence with the Worcestershire County Council.
Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Education and Skills at Worcestershire County Council, Councillor Marcus Hart said "Starting school is a big step for children and we aim to make this process as smooth as possible.
"We are pleased that with admission for September 2018 every child that applied had a place offered to them, with 93% getting their first choice preference.
"However it is especially important that the deadlines for application are met to avoid missing out on a place."
If you do not have access to the internet, you can get online at any Worcestershire library or if you require additional assistance please do not hesitate to call School Admissions on 01905 822700.
