The Hive is running a workshop to help people find out more about the history of their house or building of interest.
Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service is helping people do that through the use of documentary evidence, maps, directory, photos and census in a House History Workshop on Saturday, 13 October from 10am to 1pm.
Staff will help those interested go through the main sources using a couple of local buildings as case studies and go through how to search the catalogues and indexes. This aims to give people the introduction they need to be able to pursue interests of their own independently and use the wealth of resources at their disposal at The Hive.
Paul Hudson, Learning & Outreach Manager, Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service, said: "People often come in to ask about their house's past and this is a great way to understand the many sources which can help you to discover the history of the building and the people who lived there."
Places are limited and need to be booked at £15. Book online on the Explore The Past page of The Hive's website and follow The Hive on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @TheHiveWorcs.
