Delve into your family history at The Hive next month.
A three-part workshop is being held on October 1, 8 and 18 from 2 until 4pm by the Worcestershire Archive & Archaeology Service.
Family History is very popular and the autumn is always a busy time for people wanting to begin investigating. Lots of people intend to start tracing their family history and may make a start but often people are not sure where to begin, what the different sources are and can feel overwhelmed.
The Archive & Archaeology Service has been helping people get started with their family history for years, offering advice and tips and in this three part workshop it will be explained how to begin, what sources to look at and where to look.
Outreach manager Paul Hudson said: "Family history is fascinating but often people don't know where to start.
"These workshops will help explain what to do and how to get started here in The Hive where we have the expertise and resources to help."
Some searching will be on computer so people should be familiar with using computers.
Places are £20 and need to be booked in advance. People can book by visiting www.thehiveworcester.org/whats-on
