BAFTA award-winning screenwriter, poet and comedian Henry Normal will be showcasing his poetic flare at an evening of poetry performance at The Hive on Wednesday 16 May, 7pm - 8.30pm.
Mr Normal, who is also co-founder of Baby Cow Productions, has been involved in either the writing or production of such TV and film comedies as The Royle Family, The Mighty Boosh, Gavin & Stacey, Alpha Papa and Philomena.
As well as being the founder of the Manchester Poetry Festival and co-founder of the Nottingham Poetry Festival, Henry also tours the country performing his collection of poetry.

He is such a prominent figure in the British comedy scene and his performances are renowned for being both deeply touching and poignant, whilst at the same time speaking to the audience through comedy and finely-tuned observation."
Mr Normal will also host a screenwriting workshop in the afternoon, 4.30pm - 5.30pm, where he will talk to writers telling them of some of the pitfalls of writing for TV and film and how they can avoid them. Places are limited for this and tickets are selling fast.
Tickets are just £15 for the screenwriting workshop (this includes admission to the poetry performance later in the evening. Or £10 (£5 for students) for those who wish to only attend the poetry.
