The second meeting of the new Worcestershire Clean Tech Innovators Network takes place on Friday 9th February.
Business owners in Worcestershire can discover a range of strategies to attract funding by attending an Attracting Investment Workshop in Malvern on Friday 9thFebruary, hosted by the Worcestershire Clean Tech Innovators Network.
The event, taking place at The Fold, New House Farm, will explore a range of issues, from peer to peer funding and angel networks to crowd funding, with local accountants Baldwins on hand to deliver a presentation on Attracting Investment.
It is the second meeting of the new Worcestershire Clean Tech Innovators Network, which has been established to support businesses which are developing the next generation of low carbon technologies. However, businesses of any type are welcome to attend and it is entirely free, with lunch also set to be provided.
Councillor Tony Miller, Cabinet Member for the Environment at Worcestershire County Council, said: "The Worcestershire Clean Tech Innovators Network is an important group aimed at driving business growth in our county whilst promoting the importance of low carbon solutions.
"This meeting promises to offer an insightful look at attracting inward investment into local companies, helping to ensure that Worcestershire continues to be a great place to do business."
The event is being co-hosted by the Investing in Growth programme, which supports Worcestershire SMEs to become investor ready and reach their growth potential. It is being delivered in partnership with the Low Carbon Opportunities Programme, with both programmes funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
