Spanish courses to start at The Hive

Published Friday, 8th September 2017

More Spanish courses are being held at The Hive starting from Wednesday 13 September.

Three levels are being taught in five week blocks.  Complete beginners can learn the basics of the language, culture and customs to equip themselves with phases and vocabulary needed in daily situations; pre-improvers can build on their basic knowledge and develop speaking skills; and improvers can focus on complex grammar and vocabulary.

With small numbers and interesting content the courses are designed to be fun, relaxed and interactive. Courses cost £50.00 to attend.  Booking in advance via www.worcestershire.gov.uk/courses is essential.

In addition to the Spanish courses The Hive is also offering courses in creative writing, emergency First Aid, business accounts for sole traders, leadership and management and presentation skills.  Details of these courses can be found on The Hive website www.thehiveworcester.org/whats-on

The courses are part of Worcestershire County Council's Adult Learning programme.

Janine Downes The Hive Library Manager said: "Our Spanish courses proved very popular last time round so it's great to be able to offer them again.  As well as Spanish there are so many other courses in the new adult learning programme to choose from.  I would certainly encourage everyone to have a look as there are so many benefits that come with learning a new skill or taking up a new hobby".

Adult learning course prospectuses will be available in Worcestershire's libraries from early September.  You can also find out about Adult Learning and book onto a course using the Adult Learning app  in Apple  Google  Amazon  Microsoft  search for adult learning in Worcestershire.
