The Hive is hosting an Adult Learning Showcase next month where people can find out about new learning opportunities.
Attendees can find out about the wide range of courses delivered through The Hive and Worcestershire County Council libraries, and meet a variety of local providers and tutors to discuss apprenticeship schemes, leisure courses and further education opportunities.
There will also be an opportunity to have taster sessions for some courses, including Spanish, Early Years Educators and Teaching Assistant courses. The Hive also has several rooms available for hire of varying sizes which are available to training providers looking to deliver a course.
The free showcase will take place at The Hive on Thursday 13 July from 5.30-7.30pm.
The benefits of taking part in an Adult Learning course include:
- Learning new skills for work
- Achieving a nationally recognised qualification
- Learning new creative skills
- Finding out more about a range of courses and workshops - English, Maths, social media and languages
Janine Downes, The Hive Library Manager said: "This is the first time the Adult Learning Showcase has been held in The Hive and we are all excited about the opportunities that will be on offer. The event is perfect for adult learners who are looking to expand their options and broaden their horizons by learning a new skill; school leavers looking for advice and a direction to take after full time education, or people looking for a rewarding new hobby.
"I would encourage everybody to come along to The Hive and find out more about the world of opportunities available to Adult Learners in Worcestershire."
